So before we start , some important highlights ! :

  1. The program is intended for anyone who wants to start walking, we recommend participating in a basic workshop with close supervision from Mitzpe Alumot Health Farms. This will give you all the tools to get started.   

  2. Remember that running is at a slow pace. Don’t rush, what’s important is to be in a state of running and accumulate running minutes and not just distance. Speed ​​in the basic stages may overload! Concentrate on technique: proud run, soft landing. as we are used to.

  3. Try to choose a varied and not flat route
  4. Missed a week? Partially done? Did you feel much difficulty? , do not advance to next week. They wooed the same week again.
  5. Missed two weeks or more? Go back at least a week!

  6. If there is any pain that doesn’t feel good to you like in the knee joint, the calf bone, the foot, then don’t go for a run with the pain, rest until it passes and look for what activity you can do in the meantime. For example: strength training in the gym, swimming, cycling, Pilates, etc

  7. Dynamic warm-up at the beginning of a workout (heels to the buttocks, knee lifts, lateral and backward running). Static flexibility exercises at the end.

  8. Strength and strengthening exercises are important, don’t give them up. 

  9. The numbers in the table represent minutes, for example: 4 minutes of walking + 1 minute of running twice 8 times.
